Sondra joined PayneWest in 2017 as a risk control specialist. Prior to coming to PayneWest, she worked in many different areas of the safety field--everything from non-profits, general industry, to commercial and residential construction. She has assisted many of these entities with compliance of federal, state and local regulations established by OSHA and EPA reporting criteria. In addition to working with these entities on compliance, Sondra has worked to assist them with programs such as LEED sustainable building practices, implementation of behavioral-based safety programs, on-site hazard assessments in all types of industries, facilities and work sites. This has helped her forge a bond with many entities which shows her core values of being honest, consistent and innovative.After receiving her Bachelor’s of Science degree, she obtained her Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certificate from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Throughout her career in safety, Sondra has always worked to create effective and sustained safety cultures. This includes the activities she participates in outside of work such as her involvement with the American Society of Safety Professionals. Her passion to volunteer includes the Autism Society of Treasure Valley and her work with the Treasure Valley Family YMCA.
