A career in the insurance industry is a good fit for Gerry as it allows him to work with people. “It’s a people business that requires an understanding of the financial impact of decisions,” he says. Gerry says his clients are the reason he goes to work, colleagues “must be the best of class” and that the right risk management option for his clients might be another’s product. He treats a client’s insurance dollar as if it was his own. PWI also supports his world view that one needs to give back to one’s community with no expectation of return. A life-long student married to a retired teacher, Gerry reads a wide variety of history, science and political works. He lives in Spokane with his wife and three children.
